Square Enix Collective Publishing ‘The Turing Test’ on Steam!

The Turing Test, a first-person adventure puzzler is going to be released by the Square Enix Collective on Steam in August 2016.

Step into the shoes of Ava Turing, an engineer for the International Space Agency (ISA), who attempts to uncover the truth behind the research base on Jupiter’s moon, Europa.

The game challenges you with solving puzzles using an Energy Manipulation Tool (EMT) to transfer power from one object to another in order to power up and take control of artificially intelligent machines and giant structures in order to solve complex tasks.

It is currently being developed using Unreal 4 by Bulkhead Interactive who previously released Pneuma: Breath of Life and recently ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for their next project Battalion 1944.
“I’m very excited to be working with the Bulkhead Interactive team,” said Square Enix Collective creator and project lead Phil Elliott. “It’s our aim to support new development talent in a range of ways, and it’s already clear that this team is destined to have a big impact on the industry in the future.”

“We’re big fans of the platform that Square Enix® has created in Collective,” said Howard Philpott, Creative Producer at Bulkhead Interactive. “We’re excited to be a part of Square Enix’s plans for the future of the industry. For us at Bulkhead they’ve opened many doors that wouldn’t have been accessible to us without their connections or years of experience in publishing games. They’ve given us the opportunity to make The Turing Test a more solid, polished, and ultimately an all-round better game.”

The Turing Test will also be featured in the Square Enix Collection range at EGX Rezzed (We will be sure to check it out first hand while we are there).
